Join us for Application Day and apply to Penn State for FREE! Students can come in and apply for free to any one of Penn State's campuses. You will attend brief sessions presented by admissions and financial aid, and admissions professionals will be on hand as you fill out the application online. Optional individual appointments with admissions counselors will be available after the workshop.

Veterans Week-Open Admissions Appointments

November 6-November 10, 2017 | 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Veterans and members of our armed forces are invited to have an individual appointment with an Admissions Counselor on campus. Learn about the admissions process, majors available and military educational benefits. Scheduling an appointment is strongly encouraged, however, walk-ins are welcome. Administration of Justice Open House

November 8, 2017 | 6:30 p.m.

Join us to learn more about the criminal justice field and the Administration of Justice major at Penn State New Kensington. Faculty in the AOJ program will present on various aspects of the criminal justice field, discuss the current job market, and talk about their recent research. Admissions representatives will give an introduction to the campus, you can talk to current AOJ students via a student panel, and you'll have an opportunity to take a campus tour.

Do you have questions about applying for financial aid? If so, please join the Penn State New Kensington Office of Student Aid for Financial Aid 101.

In this seminar, we will review:

  • The student financial aid process
  • How student financial aid awards are determined
  • The available types of student aid

We will also help you gain a better understanding of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as we:

  • Discuss the application more in-depth
  • Explain the logic behind the questions
  • Provide tips on how to complete the form successfully
  • Discuss the financial aid timeline and early income data
