The Office of Business and Finance prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act using information collected and maintained by the Office of Business and Finance, Police Services, Student Affairs, designated Campus Security Authorities, and local police agencies surrounding Penn State New Kensington. Each of these offices provides updated policy information and crime data.
This report provides statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned, leased, or controlled by Penn State New Kensington. This report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies regarding sexual assault, and alcohol and other drugs. The statistics reported here generally reflect the number of criminal incidents reported to the various authorities. The statistics reported on liquor laws, drug laws and weapons offenses represent the number of people arrested or referred to campus judicial authorities for respective violations.
The University distributes a notice of the availability of this Annual Security Report by October 1 of each year to every member of the University community.
