Pianist Tom Roberts has performed on the “Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” arranged music for a number of jazz artists such as Wynton Marsalis, and arranged and performed music for Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator,” among others. One of his more recent passions includes composing original scores for silent films starring Charlie Chaplin, two of which he will bring to Penn State New Kensington at 7 p.m. on Nov. 28 in the Forum Theatre.
Rhonda Schuldt has joined Penn State New Kensington as innovation coordinator in the campus innovation hub, The Corner, located in downtown New Kensington. Her goals for the campus and The Corner include connecting the campus and New Kensington community, as well as providing and linking resources to students, faculty, staff, startups, small businesses and community members.
While Dolly Parton originally sang “9 to 5” in the 1980 hit movie by the same name, a new cast, comprised of Penn State New Kensington students and local community members, will bring the hit to Penn State New Kensington’s Forum Theatre for a three-day run Nov. 2-4.
