Course Scheduling for Current Penn State Students

If you are a current Penn State student and want to register for classes with us, here is what you need to do:

  • Visit the LionPATH web page and go to Self Service to conduct your search and view a list of available classes.  Select the following from the drop down menus:
    • "Term" -- select the upcoming semester (spring, summer or fall)
    • "Campus" -- choose New Kensington as the campus
    • "Location" -- choose your location
    • "Subject" -- designate a course subject
    • Click "Search" to display the courses that meet your criteria.

Click the "Select" button beside the course(s) you would like to take. Then, visit your Enrollment Shopping Cart to finalize your enrollment.  If you need help scheduling or choosing classes that will fulfill particular degree requirements, please contact your assigned academic advisor.

 

Course Scheduling for Those Not Currently Enrolled at Penn State

Even if you are not currently a Penn State student, you can still take non-degree courses with us at Penn State New Kensington. First, look through our list of available classes to determine what you would like to take.

  • Visit the LionPATH web page and select the following from the drop down menus:
    • "Term" -- select the upcoming semester (spring, summer or fall)
    • "Campus" -- choose New Kensington as the campus
    • "Location" -- choose your location
    • "Subject" -- designate a course subject
    • Click "Search" to display the courses that meet your criteria.

Once you determine what you want to take, you will need to fill out a Non-Degree Application and a Drop/Add Form.  After completion, you may fax both forms to Penn State New Kensington’s Registrar’s Office at: 724-334-6111, or send it via mail to:

Common Schedule

Penn State moved to a University-wide common schedule for its course offerings (effective Fall 2016).
