The Penn State New Kensington Fitness Center facilities will be open to students, faculty and staff for the fall semester.
Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Reservations are required to use the Fitness Center and Cardio Room in the campus Athletic Center. Occupancy for the Fitness Center is limited to four individuals. Occupancy for the Cardio Room is two people.
Reservations can be made for 75 minutes, followed by a 45 minute period for space cleaning. Times available for reservations include:
- 9 or 11 a.m.
- 1, 3 or 5 p.m.
Reservations can be made up to one week in advance. To make a reservation and see available times, visit the campus Fitness Center through the Microsoft Bookings app.
Everyone using the fitness facilities is required to wear a mask into the Athletic Center and during workouts. If an individual is not feeling well, has a fever or has traveled outside Pennsylvania to an area identified as one having high rates of COVID-19, he or she is asked to stay home and follow recommended self-quarantine and health guidelines.
Virtual and in-person fitness classes, as well as small group personal training, are being planned for the fall semester. Follow the Fitness Center on Facebook to see updated information and schedules.
