Registration for summer 'Kids in College' programs open for 2019

The Office of Continuing Education at Penn State New Kensington has opened registration for its annual Kids in College summer camp programs for youth in elementary, middle and high schools. More than 40 programs focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and math, as well as fun, are offered.

Libraries' Research Awards recognize 105 students across 19 campuses

Penn State University Libraries awarded its Undergraduate Research Award: Excellence in Information Literacy to students at nearly all undergraduate Penn State campuses in April, honoring 97 undergraduate students as well as eight graduate students participating in their respective campus-wide research exhibition events.

Art, tech, sustainability to converge for 2019 Off the Wall pARTy

Penn State New Kensington's third annual Off the Wall pARTy, scheduled for June 14, will feature artists Rodney Allen Trice and George Williams; live music by Vida Loves Donnie and Belly Up; seven pop-up galleries; interactive art stations; tapas and libations; and live and silent auctions.

The Sustainability Institute hosted the first of three forums at Penn State Beaver on May 7. Faculty, staff, students, and other leaders gathered to learn about the variety of activities, events, research and other programs taking place throughout the Commonwealth Campuses to advance the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals and the University's strategic plan.
