Mylinda Scott and Sonya Selvaraj with 2024 Techni-bowl Cup

Mylinda Scott, pictured left, and Sonya Selvaraj, right, hold the Pennsylvania Society of Radiologic Technologists Techni-bowl Cup. The duo, who are both second-year radiological sciences students at Penn State New Kensington, won the 2024 Techni-bowl competition held in Harrisburg, Pa. in March. Although other teams from the campus have placed in the past, Scott and Selvaraj comprise the first team to ever place first in the event, which started in 2010.

Penn State New Kensington will host a "Special Talk with the Allegheny County Airport Authority" on Tuesday, April 16, in the campus Art Gallery at 12:05 p.m. during Common Hour. Members of the campus community and public are invited to attend.

Student presents her research project at annual exposition

Gabby Wolfkill at 2024 Research and Student Engagement Expo

Gabby Wolfkill, a biobehavioral health student at Penn State New Kensington, presented her undergraduate research project, "Sexual Harassment in the Workplace," at the 2024 Research and Student Engagement Expo at the campus on April 9. Wolfkill's project was one of nearly 50 presented at the annual event.
