NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Hosted by Women in STEM at Penn State New Kensington, the eighth annual Welcome Night will be held Sept. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Café Courtyard.

The event, open to all students interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors and careers, provides an opportunity to network with alumni, faculty, staff and professionals from the Pittsburgh region.

Students will be able to connect with peers, meet alumni who have built careers in STEM, and engage with faculty and staff outside the classroom. Professionals are also encouraged to attend and connect with developing students, offering career insights and advice.

The evening will include food and s’mores.

Registration is required.

Attendees will receive an email reminder the day before the event.
