Artwork in a variety of mediums by high school students hangs in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery throughout the month of March. The annual "Arts Alive" exhibit, sponsored by the Alle-Kiski Arts Consortium, features student works from five local districts.
"A Wooded Lot," a watercolor painting by Patricia Majcher, hangs in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery. Majcher, a retired teacher from Hempfield Area School District, is showcasing two of her paintings as part of the Alle-Kiski Arts Consortium's art educator exhibit, "Practice What We Teach." The exhibit runs Jan. 6-31 at the campus.
Teachers from school districts in western Pennsylvania will showcase their work outside of the classroom throughout January in Penn State New Kensington’s Art Gallery. “Practice What We Teach” aims to focus the individual artistic talents of teachers and will run from Jan. 6 through 31.
Artworks of varying mediums and artist skill level will be showcased at the East Suburban Artists League (ESAL) annual exhibit at Penn State New Kensington. The ESAL Holiday Show will begin Dec. 2 and will be featured until Dec. 27.
