Spring ALC Events:

Career Coaching Series 1, 2, 3

It is not too late to attend...

The first group Career Coaching session has passed, but the second group session will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at noon in the Art Gallery.  The third piece to this series is scheduling an individual appointment with the PSNK Career Coaches.

The Career Coaching series will cover topics such as resume building for the career changer, elevator speeches, networking, job fair preparation and internship and job searching tools.

The Adult Learning Community, or ALC, has been established to serve the unique needs of our adult learners - or - non-traditional students (age 24 or older, veterans, or any student with multiple life roles, those with four or more years of employment or homemaking, or those who identify as an adult learner and wish to join the Community for support).

This group will meet both day and evening hours and will include a wide range of diverse workshops and sessions on topics to enhance the learning experience and improve the success of the adult learner population.  Sessions will include topics such as higher education technology tips, study skills including writing and math, major and career-changer exploration, life roles and educational barriers, transformational learning discussions, chats with faculty and yet-to-be-determined topics that will be developed by the ALC as they meet to discuss their specific needs.
