Corey Pistininzi at 2019 Off the Wall pARTy

Corey Pistininzi (far left) speaks with guests at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy at Penn State New Kensington. Pistininzi, owner of Modfinish in downtown New Kensington along the Corridor of Innovation, was one of seven pop-up art gallery artists featured during the event. In addition to providing home remodeling and decorating services, Pistininzi's business also houses a gallery featuring upcycled, repurposed and salvaged industrial art that he and other local artists have created.

Trice virtual reality experience at 2019 Off the Wall pARTy

A guest interacts with a unique virtual reality experience at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy at Penn State New Kensington. Attendees of the event's VIP experience were able to utilize a mobile app to hover over graphics to reveal interesting elements designed by featured artist Rodney Allen Trice, professor of practice in graphic design at the Stuckeman School in Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture. Trice, who also showcased some of his industrial art pieces at the event, also recently won Penn State's Teaching and Learning with Technology Open Innovation Challenge.

Rodney Allen Trice, the featured VIP artist at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy, mingled with guests during the event at Penn State New Kensington. Trice, Penn State alumnus and professor of practice in graphic design at the Stuckeman School in Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, showcased various pieces of his art collection including upcycled and repurposed industrial furniture and lighting, as well as a unique virtual reality experience.

George Williams at 2019 Off the Wall pARTy

Pittsburgh-based speed-painter George Williams stands next to his completed Penn State painting at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy at Penn State New Kensington. During the "Art Madness" portion of the event, Williams painted the piece, along with two Pittsburgh-themed paintings, in a matter of minutes. The paintings were then auctioned off during the live Art Auction.
