George Williams - 2019 Off the Wall pARTy Artist

George Williams, a Pittsburgh-based speed painter, will be featured at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy at Penn State New Kensington. George's "Art Madness" show will allow guests to watch as he creates three one-of-a-kind paintings as music plays.

Rodney Allen Trice - 2019 Off the Wall pARTy Featured Artist

Rodney Allen Trice is the Featured Artist at the 2019 Off the Wall pARTy at Penn State New Kensington. Trice, a 1987 graduate of Penn State and current professor of practice with the University, developed a passion for furniture design using found materials while he was an art director in the magazine industry. He expanded his interests from graphic and repurposed design to video and now augmented and virtual reality.

Registration for summer 'Kids in College' programs open for 2019

The Office of Continuing Education at Penn State New Kensington has opened registration for its annual Kids in College summer camp programs for youth in elementary, middle and high schools. More than 40 programs focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and math, as well as fun, are offered.

Robyn Chotiner - 2019 New Kensington Excellence in Teaching Winner (part-time)

Robyn Chotiner (left), adjunct lecturer of biobehavioral health, accepts the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Award (part-time) from Craig Hammond, assistant director of academic affairs and associate professor of arts and humanities at Penn State New Kensington. The award was presented at the 2019 Celebration of Excellence Awards ceremony at the campus on April 26.

Joe Cuiffi 2019 New Kensington Teaching Award Winner

Sedona Rogers - 2019 New Kensington Walker Award Winner

Sedona Rogers, sophomore electro-mechanical engineering technology student, poses after being named the recipient of the 2019 Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award at Penn State New Kensington. The honor is given annually to the student whose outstanding qualities of character, scholarship and leadership contribute to the prestige of the campus. The award was established in 1980 by Penn State President Eric A. Walker and is presented at each of Penn State's campuses.
