Meet the Staff

Monique Eguavoen

Director of Enrollment Management

Monique holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management at the University of Pittsburgh. Monique oversees the recruitment, admissions, and financial aid initiatives for Penn State New Kensington and manages the day to day operations of the Admissions and Financial Aid office. She assists first-year, transfer, adult, and dual enrollment students throughout the application process, and welcomes the opportunity to meet with prospective students and their families to discuss admission to the campus. When not working, Monique enjoys reading, cooking, completing “do it yourself” projects, and spending time with her family.

Casey Lang

Admissions Counselor

Casey holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business/French and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She assists traditional-aged college students with first-year and transfer admissions questions, as well as acts as an out-of-state representative for the campus and University. In addition to this, she is a co-advisor of the New Kensington campus’ Lion Ambassadors. In her spare time, Casey enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and travel.

Jill Dickun

Admissions Counselor

Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State, and is a Penn State New Kensington alum.  Jill was an adult learner and now assists our adult learners and student veteran population.  She also helps traditional-age first year and transfer students navigate the application process.   Jill is a mom of four very active children, and when she is not working she is attending soccer practice and spending time on her farm where she raises beef cows, chickens, and has horses.  Jill and her husband also enjoy exploring University Park and reliving their glory days, vacationing to the beach, and camping.

Becky Miller

Admissions Counselor

Becky holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Endicott College and a master's degree in Educational Policy and Leadership from Boston University.  She assists prospective first-year and transfer students, as well as student-athletes, with the application process. She also coordinates the Pathway to Success: Summer Start Program (PaSSS).  Becky is an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all students.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running and finding new places to eat.

Diana Hill

Staff Assistant

Diana assists students and families with financial aid questions. She administers the campus-wide work-study program and serves as the veterans certifying official.
