Welcome to the exciting world of co-curricular activities! Penn State New Kensington offers a wide variety of engagement opportunities for our students through intercollegiate athletics, leadership opportunities, student organizations, and other events, programs, and workshops.
We encourage all students to get engaged on campus, and joining a student organization is just one of the opportunities available to you in the realm of student engagement.

Why get involved?
Getting involved in campus organizations is a great way to meet new people, gain leadership and other essential skills, and have fun! We have a variety student organizations at Penn State New Kensington in which students can participate. In addition to this, students who are interested can explore the option of forming their own organizations in order to get people interested in new activities on campus.
How do I join an existing organization?
There are many organizations of various interests for students to join each year. At the start of the fall semester the Back to School Bash and Involvement Fair events provide an opportunity for you to explore all the organizations and meet organization members. You can also join an organization online by completing the Get Engaged at PSNK form.
How do I start a new organization?
We encourage students who do not see an organization that interests them to consider starting a new organization! To learn more about the establishment process, contact Evan D. Ditty, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, by email at [email protected] or stop into the Student Life Office (004 Administration Building).
