Off the Wall pARTy 2020 will take place Friday, June 12, 2020, in the Penn State New Kensington Forum Theatre, Administration Building lobbies and courtyard.
Penn State New Kensington invites a call for artists, respectfully requesting donations of artwork in support of teh Pittsburgh regional cultural arts community. The pARTy celebrates arts and culture with an evening full of artists, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and merriment. All proceeds from the auctions benefit cultural art initiatives and scholarships at the campus.
Artists who donate work will receive two complimentary Off the Wall pARTy 2020 tickets, as well as special recognition at the auction and an opportunity for a future solo art exhibition in the campus Art Gallery for one month free of charge.
Eligibility & Requirements
- 2D & 3D artists of all media
- Please complete and submit the online artwork donation form, which also asks for 1-4 digital images for consideration.
- Submit image files in .jpg or .gif format at least 1 MB (1000 pixels) not to exceed 2MB.
- Label files with artist name, title, date and size.
- A maximum of two works per artist will be accepted.
- Work must be complete and display ready.

Submission is free and submissions will be accepted until May 1, 2020. Images of accepted pieces will be retained by Penn State New Kensington and used for promotional purposes. Artists selected will be highlighted in the campus social media, promotions and marketing for the Off the Wall pARTy 2020. Artists participating agree to grant Penn State New Kensington perpetual, royalty free, and nonexclusive license to use, without limitation, any auction artwork, or related image, for the purpose of promoting the campus and related events.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibit. Penn State New Kensington’s decision is final.
Artists may submit up to three artworks for consideration; a maximum of two will be accepted. Please keep in mind that it is difficult to accommodate large-scale pieces or works that require intricate installation.
All artists will be notified by May 8, via email, as to whether or not their artwork was accepted. Please do not contact Penn State New Kensington directly.
Accepted artwork should be hand-delivered between May 11 and May 29, 2020. Please contact us directly at 724-334-6056 or firstname.lastname@example.org for an appointment.
All artists will be notified of the sale of their artwork by June 29, 2020. In the unfortunate case the artwork does not sell, the artist may pick up the artwork from Penn State New Kensington after July 1, 2020 by appointment. Any artwork that remains unclaimed by July 15, 2020, will become property of Penn State New Kensington and may be sold at a later date without consignment to the donating artist/entity. Penn State New Kensington is not responsible for the return shipment of unsold work.
All donations made to Penn State New Kensington are eligible for a full tax consideration.
