First-Year Honors Students
First-year Honors students take English 30 (Honors Composition) in the fall and the designated Honors seminar in the spring. The topic of the Honors seminar changes each year.
In Spring 2025, the course will be HIST 003 The American Nation: Historical Perspectives. This course examines the founding period of United States history along with the American Revolution and analyzes modern popular rhetorical portrayals and misconceptions about the founding of the country.
Honors Options
For Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Honors students the Honors Option is a mechanism to convert a regular course section into an Honors course. Check the Honors Option page for more information.
