Penn State New Kensington's Police and Public Safety department held its second annual "Cram the Cruiser" event to benefit a local organization in the Alle-Kiski Valley region. The department chose to have the collected toys, clothing and other items to benefit the Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center, whose mission is to eliminate domestic violence through intervention, prevention and collaboration. Items collected during "Cram the Cruiser" will help those who access various HOPE Center programs including its emergency shelter and re-housing programs.
