The Penn State New Kensington Business program seeks to differentiate our baccalaureate degree by optimizing our Advisory Board members’ expertise, knowledge, connection and network to enable Penn State New Kensington Business program to remain at the forefront of the business discipline by aligning our research, programs, and offerings with current and future industry challenges and trends.

This goal will be accomplished through:

  1. Innovative advice, dynamic and contemporary perspectives to faculty and students.
  2. Strategic synergies created between local industries and high schools and the BSB to recruit and retain students.
  3. Industry insight to faculty to ensure academics align with current skill needs in the industry.
  4. Career development opportunities for students (e.g., mock interviews, mentoring, internship, employment opportunities, etc.)
  5. Enrichment of classroom learning with targeted and topical presentations.
