Second-year students in the Radiological Sciences program or Biomedical Engineering Technology program may be eligible for the for the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Talent Attraction Program (TAP).
Students will have an option to choose to sign an agreement with AHN for a two-year commitment to work at one of their facilities within their field. Students will work casual, part-time or full-time at an AHN facility while still earning their degree. TAP students will also receive the following through AHN:
- $10,000 in paid tuition
- This check will be written directly to Penn State New Kensington to pay the tuition for the year.
- Assistance with transportation to and from clinical sites
- This may include assistance such as gas cards.
- Uniforms and shoes
- An AHN Mentor to help you through the program
- Students will meet with their mentor once a week to touch base. If a student receives a passing grade for the semester, both the student and mentor will receive a $500 bonus check.
