LGBTQA Awareness Week
Events in October focused on understanding and appreciation of
the LGBTQA population, resources available to LGBTQA students, and discussions held for
those who are interested.
Non-Profit and Human Rights Advocacy Fair
Every year in January, Penn State New Kensington hosts the Non-Profit and Human Rights Advocacy Fair, which provides internship and volunteer opportunities to students. The service focus areas of these organizations include advocacy and human rights, children & youth, community, disaster relief, crisis support, health and medicine, faith based, and homeless/housing organizations.
