Kylie Meyer, right, a senior psychology student, was named the 2022 Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award winner at Penn State New Kensington. She was presented with the prestigious award by Kevin Snider, chancellor at the campus, during the annual awards ceremony on April 29.

Members of the Penn State New Kensington STEAM Club pose for photos after Penn State New Kensington's annual Academic and Student Achievement Awards ceremony. The club was presented with the 2022 Student Organization of the Year Award. The club was nominated for organizing fun and educational programs, such as building and coding of robots, for students throughout the academic year. Members also raised more than $1,000 during a spring flower sale.

Debra Majetic Atherton Award

Debra Majetic, right, assistant teaching professor and program coordinator of radiological sciences at Penn State New Kensington, was recognized for being one of six University-wide George W. Atherton Award recipients this year. The award is named after Penn State’s seventh president and is given to six full-time faculty members who have devoted substantial effort to and developed a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching. Andrea Adolph, director of academic affairs at the campus, presented her with a plaque at the annual Academic and Student Achievement Awards ceremony on April 29.
