Penn State New Kensington Information Sciences & Technology student built a robot for his math class. It is made out of Legos and is capable of solving a Rubik's Cube by scanning the colors of the cube's faces.
After learning the physics and engineering aspects of rockets, children (grades 4-8) in the Penn State New Kensington’s Kid in College rocketry class constructed and launched their own model rockets on the campus multi-purpose field.
Penn State New Kensington students performed with the Pittsburgh Samba Group at the campus' recent "Holidays Around the World" celebration. The special event in Cafe 780 featured cultural displays with food samples from different countries.
