Accept Your Offer 

Accept your offer of admission by logging into your MyPennState account or visiting the Finance Office on campus to pay your acceptance fee.

Now that you've accepted your offer of admission, there are some other things you'll need to take care of before you begin classes at Penn State New Kensington.

Attend an Admitted Student Event 

You and your family are invited to attend one of our Admitted Student Events! The programs are designed to answer your questions and tell you what to expect now through the start of the fall semester.

Apply for Financial Aid

There's plenty of information in the financial aid section of this website on how to apply for and accept your financial aid award.

  • Complete the FAFSA to apply for federal student aid.
  • Explore scholarship opportunities on our Scholarships page.
  • In early August, an electronic bill (eBill) will be emailed to your official University email account. Instructions to view and pay the bill via LionPATH will be provided. Ensure that your Financial Responsibility Statement is signed to finalize course registration.

Attend New Student Orientation (NSO) 

First-year students are required to attend NSO, which will help you get ready to attend Penn State New Kensington. You'll receive detailed information ahead of time, so check your email.

  • All incoming students must provide proof of immunizations before arriving on campus. Log in to myUHS using your Penn State credentials to upload your immunization records. For more information, visit the immunization submission page.
  • Complete the Penn State Safe & Aware online module about alcohol education and relationship and sexual violence awareness. Access the training at Safe & Aware.
  • As a Penn State student, you are also eligible for free and discounted computer software. To see what's available, visit software.psu.edu.
