Steven Evanchec

Steve Evanchec is an Associate Teaching Professor of Accounting. He received his B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting from Ohio State University. He received his M.S. in Public Management, with a concentration in Information Technology, from Carnegie Mellon University. Steve also holds a professional license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Public Accountant.

He has worked in the accounting, auditing, and information technology fields for over 20 years. His specific experience includes roles as a senior accountant, senior financial systems analyst, database administrator, staff auditor, and most recently as a reporting and business analyst at the University of Pittsburgh. Steve has instruction experience stemming from his time as a teaching associate in Financial Management and Organizational Management while conducting his graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
