Penn State New Kensington encourages blood donations from the campus, alumni and local community at the semiannual blood drive, set for March 29 in the Art Gallery.
Performing artists Lady Caress and Jared Mahone will take the stage in Café 780 during the final weeks of the spring semester. Lady Caress, a spoken word artist, will bring her distinct style to the campus at 12:15 p.m. March 22. Mahone, a musical word artist, will perform his own songs at noon April 13. Both shows are free to the public.
A reception for high school artists of the Alle-Kiski Arts Consortium is slated from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Penn State New Kensington. The young artists will discuss their works in the campus Art Gallery. The event is free to the public.
