A new year and a new beginning. Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to discover the benefits of attending Penn State New Kensington at Transfer Student Open House on Jan. 5 in the campus Conference Center.

Forty-six Penn State New Kensington graduates earned their baccalaureate and associate degrees at 1 p.m. Dec. 17 in the campus Forum Theatre.

Penn State New Kensington will close on Dec. 23 and reopen on Jan. 3. The first day of classes for the spring semester is a week later on Jan. 9.

Donald Bruckner, associate professor of philosophy at Penn State New Kensington was named a General Education Faculty Fellow recently by the Penn State Office of General Education.
