An exhibit of paintings by artist Charles "Bud" Gibbons, professor emeritus of visual arts at Penn State New Kensington, is running through Nov. 26 in the Art Gallery on the Upper Burrell campus. The show is free to the public.
Hundreds of job seekers and recruiters descended on Penn State New Kensington’s Athletics Center on Oct. 6 for the annual Alle-Kiski Job Fair. The event is geared toward students, alumni and community members who are seeking part- or full-time employment and internships.

No classes are scheduled at Penn State New Kensington from Nov. 21 to 26 during the Thanksgiving break. The campus will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 21 to 23; the campus will be closed Nov. 26 and 27. Classes will resume Nov. 28.
After a successful internal pilot program in the spring, Penn State New Kensington’s Homework Hotline enters Phase II as middle and high school students from local school districts are getting help with their math studies from campus students.
