The "Practice What We Teach" exhibit introduction piece in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery. The showcase is featured throughout January 2018 and includes multimedia works from current and retired educators throughout western Pennsylvania.
Penn State New Kensington has issued a call for artists to participate in an art submission for consideration for auction at the fifth annual "Off the Wall pARTy" scheduled for June 9. The pARTy aims to celebrate arts and culture with a unique evening consisting of art, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and more. Proceeds from the event benefit cultural art initiatives and programs at the campus.
Art educators from five local school districts in the Alle-Kiski region and Pittsburgh will showcase their works in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery Feb. 1-24. The showcase is free and open to the public.
The Appalachian Regional Commission awarded $1.5 million to Fayette County to construct a Health Sciences Workforce Development Center on the Fayette County Career and Technical Institute campus, with the help of the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program at Penn State.
Richard Wentling, assistant professor of criminal justice at Penn State New Kensington, enjoys conversation during the 2022 Penn State New Kensington Faculty Publications and Promotions Party on Dec. 7. Wentling was recognized for being the 2022 Full-Time Excellence in Teaching Award recipient, as well as co-authoring a published work.
