The reNew Kensington Community Workshop, led by Penn State New Kensington, was held in downtown New Kensington on Sept. 27. The event, made possible, in part, by a grant from the West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) aimed to bring city leaders, residents, business owners, students and organizations together to learn about and plan for sustainability and best practices. Attendees attended breakout sessions, listened to speakers and took part in a collaborative reThink planning session to identify action steps for the city in relation to sustainability and resilience.

This sesson, titled "Building Retuning," featured the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP), and was held at ModFinish, a business along the Corridor of Innovation in the city.
