Bachelor of Science in Business (BSBCC)
Penn State New Kensington students can complete a 4-year business degree program at our campus.
The Bachelor of Science in Business (BSBCC) is designed for students who wish to become flexible business professionals, equipped to adapt to the ever-changing workplace of the future. The program enables students to develop an up-to-date general knowledge base in business administration and more.
BSBCC students can choose from three degree options:
- Accounting option prepares graduates for a wide variety of careers within the accounting industry. Course work in financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation and auditing introduce students to the professional opportunities that are available in the accounting field. The accounting option also satisfies the requirement to sit the for the Certified Public Accountant exam in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Management and Marketing option prepares graduates for careers in small and large corporations and not for profit organizations, as entrepreneurs, or partners in a small or family business.
- Individualized Business option allows students to work with faculty in developing a course of study that meets their specific career needs and interests.
