The Success Center

The Success Center is home to Career Services, Academic Advising, and Learning Center Resources. With professional staff members, Student Success Coaches, and numerous qualified tutors, the Success Center is a valuable resource as you make the most of your Penn State education!

All Penn State New Kensington students are welcome to use the Success Center for studying, completing homework and receiving tutoring.

Academic Advising

Academic Advisors teach students how to:

  • understand the purposes of higher education
  • make connections between personal interests, life goals, and academic opportunities
  • think critically and question common assumptions about majors and careers
  • find educational opportunities such as study abroad programs, research assistantships, leadership activities, and internships

All students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor often to ensure they are on track with their degree requirements. Your advisor will help you reach your goals!
