From Accounting and Advertising to Women's Studies and World Languages Education, you have plenty of options in between when you study at Penn State.
At Penn State, you have access to a variety of academic programs.
It's good to have options. We think you should have at least 160 of them.
Penn State offers a total of 160+ baccalaureate degree programs from our 20 locations across the state. We want to give students the freedom to live and learn in the type of academic environment best for them.
Some students come to Penn State New Kensington for one of our 15 degree programs and they complete their degree exclusively at our suburban Pittsburgh campus.
Other students spend 2 years with us and then transition to another Penn State campus to finish their degree. We call this program the "2+2 Plan."
The 2+2 Plan
A very popular option, more than half of all Penn State students complete their degrees with the 2+2 Plan.
Although there are many Penn State locations, all of our academic programs are the same. So, no matter where you start or finish your Penn State degree program, your diploma will say The Pennsylvania State University.
