More than 40 Penn State New Kensington students traveled to University Park for the culminating THON 2019 event held Feb. 15-17. The campus was represented by campus dancers Bradyn Claycomb, Adam Johnson and Ashley Worlds, who were chosen by a committee of administrators, staff and alumni during an application and interview process. The campus team raised more than $27,000, exceeding their goal and allowing them to break into the Top 10 fundraising Commonwealth Campuses. THON is the world's largest student-run philanthropy in the world and has raised more than $157 million for children and families affected by childhood cancer. THON, the world's largest student-run philanthropy, has raised more than $157 million for children and families affected by childhood cancer. The Penn State New Kensington THON team raised more than $27,000 for the total, which allowed the team to break into the Top 10 fundraising Commonwealth Campuses.
