On Feb. 3, all students, faculty and staff members at every Penn State campus location will receive an email to take the Penn State Community Survey to share their attitudes and experiences of community, diversity and inclusion at Penn State. Every 100 survey takers will have a chance to win an Amazon or Starbucks gift card.
The traveling museum featuring historical artifacts from the 1700's to present day will visit the campus on Feb. 5. The step dance performance group will perform Feb. 27. Both events are free and open to the public.
Soul Steps, a New York City-based step group founded in 2005 by Maxine Lyle, will perform at Penn State New Kensington on Feb. 27 at 12:15 p.m. in the Forum Theatre. The performance is free and open to the public.
The True Black History Museum, a traveling museum teaching Black history through showcasing historical artifacts, will visit Penn State New Kensington on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The exhibit, much like the one pictured at Henry Ford College, will be in the campus Athletic Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a lecture at 12:05 p.m. in the Forum Theatre that same day.
The half-day professional conference is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7, and tickets are available for campus students and recent graduates in the Academic and Career Success Center.

The goalie has been recognized for his athletic abilities on the soccer field by the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) during his time at the campus.
Joshua Zakrzeski, senior at Penn State New Kensington, served as goalie for the campus' men's soccer team and helped them reach the PSUAC playoffs for each of the seasons he has been a student at the campus (2016,2017 and 2019).
With his collegiate soccer career at Penn State New Kensington complete, Joshua Zakrzewski, administration of justice major at Penn State New Kensington, looks forward to completing his degree at the campus and entering a field within public service.
