International Student Orientation (ISO)

This program will cover topics that are important to new international students, including: U.S. Government Regulations and how they apply to students, international student health insurance requirements, maintaining full-time status, on-campus employment, and filing tax returns, as well as travel and re-entry from abroad during your program of study. The University Office of Global Programs' pre-arrival guide offers more information for new international students.

Mandatory Programs

Friday, August 17, 2018: register for your classes, learn important information about document check in process, maintaining your international student status, health insurance information, academic convocation, college meetings, special academic workshops, and fun activities to help you meet other new students.

Arriving Early?

If you arrive before August 17, 2018, join your fellow students for New Student Days (NSD) in mid-August! These two days are open to international students, but are not mandatory.
