NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Twenty-nine Penn State New Kensington student research projects for the 2021 virtual campus Research and Student Engagement Expo now can be viewed online at https://sites.psu.edu/newkenresearchexpo/.
This year's projects, presented by 40 students, covered a variety of topics, such as mental health, advertising, automation, radiology and blockchain technology. Student researchers were mentored by faculty members who provided guidance throughout the year.
Three students were also chosen to receive Undergraduate Research Award: Excellence in Information Literacy prizes from Penn State's University Libraries. The 2021 winners from Penn State New Kensington include Matt Heavner, Samantha Kravits and Michel Nafash.

Faculty, staff and members of the public are also invited to share reviews of presentations to offer constructive feedback for students. Links to feedback surveys can be found during the review period under each individual project on the expo website.
