Each year, the campus hosts the Academic and Student Achievement Awards ceremony where we recognize and honor students for their accomplishments inside and outside of the classroom. To nominate a student for an award, click the name of the award below.

ERIC A. AND JOSEPHINE S. WALKER AWARD
The purpose of this award shall be to recognize undergraduate students enrolled at the Commonwealth Locations whose outstanding qualities of character, scholarship, leadership, and citizenship have been directed into programs and services that have positively influenced fellow students and have contributed to the prestige and well-being of their campus and, hence, to the reputation of the University as a whole.

TOP INFLUENCERS AWARD
These leaders consistently demonstrate a positive influence with their peers, have high integrity and are an example to their fellow students while simultaneously excelling academically.
EMERGING LEADER AWARD
This award recognizes students that have had an impact on a student organization or any type of campus student leadership by demonstrating outstanding leadership through dedication to their club or organization, community service, promotion of diversity, responsible citizenship, and academic excellence.
PENN STATE SPIRIT AWARD
This award recognizes an outstanding student who exemplifies true Penn State Spirit and Pride.
STUDENT CLUB OF THE YEAR AWARD
In recognition of the club that has shown commitment to the student body by providing co-curricular experiences to the campus community, and exceptional leadership.

CLUB ADVISOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognizes any student organization advisor who exhibits outstanding service to an organization. The recipient is nominated by any member of a Penn State New Kensington community.
CLUB ADVISOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
FACULTY EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD
This award recognizes the importance of excellence in teaching at the campus. Penn State New Kensington annually awards an Excellence in Teaching Award to a full-time faculty member and a part-time faculty member.

STAFF AWARD: SERVICE TO PENN STATE NEW KENSINGTON CAMPUS
This service to campus award will recognize a staff member who demonstrates a pattern of extraordinary dedication and goes above and beyond assigned job responsibilities in an effort to serve the needs of members of the New Kensington campus.

STAFF AWARD: SERVICE TO STUDENTS
This service to students' award will recognize a staff member who promotes a consistent student-centered learning environment while fostering a positive student experience. This staff member will also provide excellent service towards students and contributing a holistic development of students both personally and professionally.
