At Leader Launch 2015, the chance to network with business professionals was one of the perks for Penn State New Kensington students attending the conference. This year’s conference is set for Jan. 27 at the Penn State Center in Pittsburgh.
The Admissions Office at Penn State New Kensington is holding four events during the spring semester for prospective students and parents. The events -- Be a Student for a Day, Scholarship Workshop, Application Day, and Spring Open House -- are spread out over three months, February to April.

Seventeen Penn State students, including 13 enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences, were among 28 who received scholarships from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation during the 101st Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. The foundation awards scholarships to young people who are registered in a post-secondary educational institution and who have exhibited at the Farm Show. To be chosen, students must exhibit leadership qualities and excellent academic performance, according to the foundation.
