9 2 20 Microbiology class

Emily Jefferson, a senior at Penn State, observes and records the growth of bacteria her MICRB 202 (Introductory Microbiology Laboratory) class isolated during week-one of the 2020 fall semester. Students were outfitted with new masks, face shields, and gloves prior to every lab session, and their stations were set up to provide appropriate social distancing.

Penn State New Kensington Police with HOPE Center Staff

Officer Teri Bracco of Penn State New Kensington's Police and Public Safety department leads a line of individuals carrying in more than 500 donated items collected during the second-annual "Cram the Cruiser" event. Clothing, toys, cleaning supplies and other items were delivered to the Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center on Dec. 18.
