Four Penn State New Kensington students were inducted to Tau Alpha Pi, the national honor society for engineering technology students for the 2020-2021 academic year. The society is recognized on the campus with a statue, which is where the inductees met for a distanced photo. The student inductees, from left to right, included: Steven Albright, Samuel Ramsey, Alex Polka and Nicholas Hwostow.
Bradyn Claycomb, a senior electro-mechanical engineering technology student, was named the 2021 Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award winner at Penn State New Kensington.
Kristen Pueschel, assistant teaching professor of mathematics, was named the 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award (Full-Time) recipient at Penn State New Kensington.
Ronald Seyko, adjunct instructor of administration of justice, was named the 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award (Part-Time) recipient at Penn State New Kensington.
The Lower Pullo Center Parking Lot, near Pullo Center at Penn State York is one of the campus locations that now has WiFi service due to a massive University-wide project to increase wireless availability. In past years, this parking lot was also used for movie night events.
Penn State Brandywine graduate Katya Iatsenko, who earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and was a Lion Ambassador and undergraduate researcher, was one of the student speakers at the ceremonies.
