On Aug. 6, 2018, the Penn State New Kensington Alumni Society held its annual golf outing. The event, which benefits student scholarships at the campus, was held at Totteridge Golf Course and Community in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Over the past three years, the golf event has raised more than $75,000 for scholarships given directly to Penn State New Kensington students.

John Siciliano, actor and Paralympian, will serve as Penn State New Kensington's keynote speaker during New Student Days on Aug. 16. Siciliano graduated from Springdale High School, not far from the New Kensington campus. The actor, shown here at nearby Valley High School track, has returned to Penn. after living in Los Angeles for 20 years. Siciliano hopes his story will help motivate students to follow their dreams.
