After months of working out in the fitness center, monitoring their food intake, and soliciting monetary donations, Penn State New Kensington students Shannon Josefoski and Chad Navarro are primed for two days of dancing at the annual Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, set for Feb. 17 to 19 at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.
Educational opportunities abound at Penn State New Kensington. And not for just traditional college students. A lifetime of learning at the campus encompasses youths, teens and adult learners.
Each month, the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery features the multi-media works of local and regional artists. The exhibits are free to the public. “Morning Glories” is a reworked painting by Bud Gibbons, professor emeritus of visual arts.
As Penn State New Kensington THON chair in 2016, Shannon Josefoski, front, headed the campus support team at the dance marathon. As a dancer this year, she will be looking for support from campus students in the stands.
