NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Penn State New Kensington has issued a call for artists to participate in an art submission for consideration for auction at the fourth annual "Off the Wall pARTy" scheduled for June 17.
The pARTy returns this year after being on hiatus due to the pandemic and aims to celebrate arts and culture with a unique evening consisting of art, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and more. Proceeds from the event benefit cultural art initiatives and programs at the campus.
The 2019 event was a success and featured artist Rodney Allen Trice, professor of practice in graphic design at the Stuckeman School in Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, live music performances, art demonstrations, and pop-up art galleries in addition to the auctions, food offerings and other interactive guest activities.
Artists who are selected to donate work will receive two tickets to the 2022 event, as well as special promotion and recognition at the auction, along with an opportunity to host a pop-up booth at the event to display and sell artwork.
Submissions are free and will be accepted until May 23 via an online submission form or by emailing Tina Booth at [email protected]. Full details about this year's call for artwork can be found on the online information webpage.
