Michael McGinnis, professor of business administration at Penn State New Kensington, died Dec. 26 in Venice, Florida, where he was visiting family. He was 75.

When Chancellor Kevin Snider conferred a corporate communications degree on Ryan Long on Dec. 17, the Penn Hills resident became the first campus student to receive a $1,000 ASPIRE scholarship.
