Men’s soccer wins three in a row

The Penn State New Kensington men’s soccer team is off to a strong start in conference play. After dropping its first Penn State University Athletic Conference match to Penn State Greater Allegheny, the Lions have won three in a row. Sophomore Andrew Perenic had his hand in two of the game-winning goals, tallying the assist in the game-winner against Penn State York and then scoring the first goal in a 2-0 victory over Penn State Hazleton. During the streak, freshmen Brady Braun, Nolan Johngarlo and Ben Midlik have each scored twice.

Women’s volleyball battles, but falls to PSUAC foes

Penn State New Kensington women's volleyball dropped matches to Penn State Fayette, Penn State Beaver and Penn State Greater Allegheny last week. Over the last two matches, sophomore Kaylea Flick led the offense with 29 kills, junior Lindsey Hessom produced 46 assists, and senior Cora Rejniak picked up 21 digs.
