Penn State New Kensington plans upcoming Idea TestLab for those wanting to make their ideas a reality. The free, four-workshop series will be held at The Corner entrepreneurial center in February.
Students from six Penn State campuses, including Penn State Behrend, participated in public service projects in Erie on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They repaired bicycles, ran bingo games and sorted clothes at a community shelter.
Penn State New Kensington will celebrate the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and promote diversity and inclusion through a series of events during the campus’ Unity Week, held from Jan. 22. to 31.
Stand for State will host an event, “All That WE ARE,” at Penn State campuses between Jan. 15 and 30. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
Penn State New Kensington students can purchase tickets to the upcoming Broadway tour production of "Wicked" in Pittsburgh. The event is part of the "Penn State in Pittsburgh" activity series for students.
The "Practice What We Teach" exhibit is featured in Penn State New Kensington's Art Gallery throughout January 2018. The showcase features multimedia works from current and retired art educators throughout western Pennsylvania.
Penn State New Kensington celebrated faculty publications, awards and promotions from throughout the year at the annual Faculty Publications Party on Dec. 6 in the Elizabeth S. Blissell Library.
