The Office for General Education has announced this year’s seed grants to support the development of Integrative Studies courses. The awarded proposals are representative of a wide range of academic disciplines, and include proposals from faculty at Penn State campuses across the Commonwealth.

Maranie Rae, a Pittsburgh-based photographer, journalist and human-rights advocate, will feature her works in Penn State New Kensington’s Art Gallery from April 9-29. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Rae also will hold two lectures on April 9.
A series organized by the Penn State New Kensington Academic and Career Success Center continues to highlight faculty members, majors and more. The second “Faculty Matters” panel is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. April 17 in the campus Conference Center.
Members of the campus and community are invited to attend upcoming programming planned at Penn State New Kensington’s entrepreneurial center, The Corner. The events are free and open to the public, but reservations are recommended.
