How do you take an idea and make it a reality? That’s just one question that will be answered through a free, four-session workshop planned at Penn State New Kensington’s innovation hub, The Corner, throughout October.
More than 40 employers will provide career options for current students, recent graduates and community members at the 10th annual Alle-Kiski Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 4 in the Athletic Center at Penn State New Kensington.
“What Were You Wearing?” aims to dispel the myth that sexual assault is the fault of the victim due to what he or she may have been wearing. The art installation, which has appeared throughout the U.S., will be featured in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery throughout October, which is also National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Penn State New Kensington will host a youth panel town hall meeting to discuss building stronger, inclusive and welcoming communities on Oct. 16. "The Hearts and Minds of Our Youth" will be moderated by New Kensington alumnae and staff member Yasmin Ray.
